5 Questions to Ask Before Starting Orthodontic Treatment
Starting orthodontic treatment is an exciting step toward a healthier, more confident smile — but it’s also a commitment of time, money, and daily care.
My name is Andrew Gasior, and I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I share time practicing at a public health clinic in Kalamazoo and the Schaefer Dental Group in Lansing which provides a great opportunity to care for an underserved patient population while also learning from one of the best dental practices in Michigan. My favorite aspect of dentistry is building relationships with my patients while working through a treatment plan with them. It is always a pleasure to see patients become involved and motivated in their oral health care as opposed to dreading every dental visits. I enjoy spending my free time relaxing with my family in Northern Michigan and visiting friends who are now scattered throughout the country. I also enjoy traveling abroad and, whenever possible, including dentistry into these trips. I have completed dental mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala with the Global Dental Brigade and Manos de Jesus, respectively. Whether it be near or far, providing dental care to those in need is something I am passionate about and look forward to doing throughout my dental career.
